Overview

Preventive blocking is a fundamental requirement to ensure that no profiling cookies or tracking scripts are executed before the user has given their consent. This is necessary to comply with privacy regulations, such as the GDPR, which requires consent to be obtained before collecting personal data. Avacy supports several methods for implementing preemptive blocking, each of which will be covered in subsequent sections.
